SHUTdown at

SHUTdown at is a lightweight and portable application with a pretty self-explanatory name - it allows you to schedule your computer to power off at a specific time. It can be easily handled, even by inexperienced users.
Since there is no installation package available, you can store SHUTdown at on a USB flash drive or any other removable device, save it to any computer and directly runs it executable file.
The most important aspect is that the Windows Registry does not receive new entries, and no leftover files can be found on the hard drive after program removal.
Upon initialization, the program shows you the default time when the system is supposed to automatically shut down, and offers to keep these settings.
The interface of SHUTdown is plain and simple to work with. So, you can establish the hour and minute when you want the computer to turn off, on a daily basis. Plus, you can view the current and remaining time, as well as minimize the main application window to the system tray area.
The simplistic program runs on a very low quantity of CPU and system memory, so it shouldn't put a strain on the computer's resources. It worked smoothly during our testing, since SHUTdown at did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. Thanks to its intuitive features and overall simplicity, first-time users may quickly figure out how to work with this tool. Unfortunately, the application has never been updated.
