The entire installation procedure takes little time to finish. As far as the interface is concerned, Sidekick seems cluttered at a first glance, but it is actually easy to navigate. It consists of multiple tabs.
It is possible to study the dimensions and angles of various screw types, such as round head, hex, oval or binder head, in addition to counterbore holes, box, open end and socket wrench clearance.
What's more, you can make calculations when it comes to right-angled triangles and trigonometry functions, as well as convert inches to millimeters or vice versa. There are no other noteworthy options provided by this piece of software.

Evaluation and conclusion

The program does not put a strain on computer performance, since it runs on low CPU and RAM. It had a good response time to commands during our tests and did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. Although Sidekick does not integrate rich features, it offers a simple method for finding out technical information on screw data, decimal equivalents, and others.
