Simple Age Calculator Description
Most daily activities are more or less tied to math operations, even if these come under various forms. For instance, age calculus is also based on simple operations, even though you don’t really need to perform this too often. In case you do, Simple Age Calculator is a straightforward tool which can determine the age of an object or person based on two starting values.
Can be used on the go
All you need to do to make the application function is just to run it after download is done. There’s no setup involved, so you can just as well leave it stored on a USB flash drive along with other similar sets of tools. Since it doesn’t rely on any root system functions, registry entries remain intact during the entire operation.
The window in which functions are found is pretty compact. Value fields you need to fill in only count as a couple, with the result generated at the press of a button. The seconds half of the window is taken up by a small text area which displays general rules for using the application.
Input values and text field
On the bright side, the text pad is editable, which means instructions can be removed, and you can add a list of individuals for which to calculate age. You’re not limited to the window space, but saving needs to be done through a copy and paste operation, because there’s no possibility to export.
All values can be cleared at the press of a button. There’s no calendar feature to make year selection easier. In fact, the application is nothing more than a calculator which can only perform subtraction of two values. As such, there’s no limit to the number of characters for input, nor years themselves.
In conclusion
Taking everything into consideration, we can state that Simple Age Calculator isn’t exactly the type of tool you need to rely on for daily routines. It’s only packed with a subtraction operation based on two numerical values to reveal age. It’s lightweight, can be used on the go, and can help when you don’t want to find an age the hard way through manual calculus.
