Take snapshots and set up file naming rules

If you wish to save the captured photos in a given folder, you must enable the 'Capture to File' feature that also gives you the power to place a suffix in the filename and adjust JPEG quality.

Automatic capturing mode and hotkeys

The third step is actually an option because Simple Capture also supports timed snipping, which means it can take a new screenshot at a given interval.
Last but not least, there's the option to choose a hotkey that will enable you to take screenshots on the go, without the need of opening the app every time. The application runs on low computer resources, which means your system should be able to handle it without glitches.

All in all, Simple Webcam Capture is probably one of the easiest ways to take screenshots using your webcam as a source. The feature pack is sufficient but not very impressive, so overall, it does what it's supposed to and nothing more.
