The source needs to be a folder which contains pictures, with the possibility to have subdirectories scanned and included in the process as well. Playback mode is somewhat customizable, in the sense that it can manually switch slides through hotkey controls, or automatically at a given time specified in tenth of a second. In case images contain useful info, you can have path, type, size, or general info displayed on screen during playback.

All things considered, we can state that SlideShow offers a decent set of options to instantly create a slideshow out of multiple pictures. Although there’s no preview, or possibility to add custom tags to pictures, you can have general info shown, slides turned automatically, or on custom input.
