Afterward, you can define the search criteria, meaning the 4 digits corresponding to the information you fear may be on your computer or any other keyword relevant for the search, for instance your address, phone number, or others. You can also assign the task a description, to make it easier to determine its role, should you wish to run it again.
After pressing the ‘Scan’ button, Smart ID Scan will go through documents, spreadsheets, archives and various other files from your PC, looking for the information you specified and retrieving them for you to see.
