SnIco Edit Description
SnIco Edit is a straightforward tool designed to help you seamlessly design icons for your files. First-time and advanced users alike can work with this app.
The interface of the program is common. Loading an existing ICO file into the working environment can be done by using only the file browser, since the "drag and drop" functionality is not included.
SnIco Edit provides users with some basic drawing tools, such as pencil, paint brush, fill, line, shapes, color picker and replacer, along with selection and text.
Some of these tools come with customization settings when it comes to the opacity (e.g. alpha), width, height, tolerance and borders. In addition, you can toggle the viewing mode between normal, color and mask, as well as zoom in and out of the picture to get a better perspective.
SnIco Edit also integrates a few effects which focus on flipping, rotation, movement and color inversion. It is also possible to import and export the color palette, use the undo and redo functions, load an icon group resource, line up windows in cascade mode, specify the draw speed, as well as save the project for further modifications.
The straightforward application has a good response time, includes user documentation and is low-demanding when it comes to the CPU and system memory, so it shouldn't be a concern to the computer's resources. We have not come across any errors throughout our testing and SnIco Edit did not hang or crash. On the other hand, the utility has not been updated for a very long time. But, thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, SnIco Edit should please users of any level of experience.
