Snipper

Snipper is a nice software solution for grabbing snippets from multiple websites and saving them on your computer. It's packed with multiple tools that you can use, aside from options and settings that can be adjusted. However, it would have been nice if it had more instructions and some additional tools that you could change.

Lightweight interface with some options

Snipper doesn't come with a complicated setup that you would need to complete, but the graphical interface could have been more intuitive. It needs some instructions for users that aren't tech-savvy and might have trouble adjusting settings for the application to grab snippets off the internet.
The first thing that you need to do after launching Snipper is to create a new entry and adjust settings.

Grab snippets from web pages on the internet

Snipper allows you to create all sort of collections and folders in which you can manage your snippets. You'll need to create one separate entry for each web page, but it does come with some examples that you can check out.
However, not all of them work so some settings must be adjusted. Firstly, you need to provide the name of the entry and assign it to a collection. The next and most important step is to provide the web URL from which content will be fetched.

Adjust settings and export snippets

Snipper can grab the full site so you can navigate and check out content when you're offline. It's great for fetching comics off the internet, but other types of content can also be grabbed.
There's the option to choose the type of file, pick between HTML and Image. The beginning and end tags must be provided, together with their position and values. You can select the portion of the web page by simply using the mouse and dragging it.
When you're done, you can export web pages and save them on your computer. All in all, Snippet is a very nice software solution for grabbing content from web pages, but it definitely needs some more tools.
