Snooze Shutdown

Snooze Shutdown is a lightweight Java-based piece of software, designed to provide you with a simple means of automating your computer's shutdown or reboot, in a user-defined amount of time.
The program is quite easy to work with, its intuitive interface making it approachable even by the less experienced computer users. It launches minimized in the system tray, so you can access it whenever you want to set up an automatic shutdown.
Snooze Shutdown allows you to perform a variety of operations, namely logoff, reboot, shutdown, hibernate and sleep.
By selecting the 'Restore' option from the application's system tray menu, you can open its main window. You can set a preferred countdown timer, specifying the number of hours and minutes after which your computer will perform the selected operation.
Once you have entered the preferred time interval, you can press the 'Start' button and in the lower right corner, Snooze Shutdown will display the remaining time until your computer is scheduled to reboot or hibernate. By pushing the 'Exit' button, the tool is once again minimized to the system tray. On the contrary, by pressing 'Cancel', you annul the chosen operation.
One minute before your PC is due to restart or reboot, Snooze Shutdown will display a popup window allowing you to postpone the operation for 5 minutes, half an hour or even an hour. You can even set the application to play a sound when this window is displayed, so if you are not paying attention, you will still be able to delay the shutdown. However, you do have the option of canceling the operation entirely or closing the program.
Snooze Shutdown is an efficient and reliable utility that enables you to schedule your computer to logoff or reboot whenever you want, while also permitting you to postpone it for a few minutes, letting you first finish your work.
