It's packed with all sort of nice features that you can explore and it has a very intuitive graphical interface with lots of tools at hand.

SolarWinds User Device Tracker takes a while to install, you'll have to be patient until it configures various components and installs them on your computer. In addition, for some reason your computer name should be smaller than 15 characters or the application won't install.
It sets up a database, website and configures various components on your computer. It opens in your browser and from there you can access and check out its multiple features.

Track multiple devices and identify their location in real time

The application comes with a feature that allows you to scan your network for objects to monitor, the scanning process doesn't take long and you can set and check out alerts that you're previously created.
It can be used for real time monitoring on a map which displays link utilization and lots of other details. Moreover, you can discover ports, manage your UDT Watch list, add existing orion nodes to UDT for port monitoring and more.

Create groups

Use groups to logically organize monitored objects. Organize monitored objects on the basis of shared properties of conditions. You can create a group to include all objects of a designated status or one that contains all monitored network objects in a specific physical location.
It also comes with top ten lists for current response time, percent packet loss, average CPU load, memory used and more.

Check out events, alerts and join the community

Another feature allows you to view events from network devices on a certain interval of time or create alerts and group them by severity. In addition, you can get syslog messages from devices, check out SNMP traps, get all sort of reports or join the community of users and follow or share posts.
All in all, SolarWinds User Device Tracker is a very nice software solution for tracking multiple devices and getting all sort of alerts. However, it takes some time to install and configure the application on your device.
