solveLinEqs Description
Designed for users who are into advanced math, solveLinEqs is a lightweight tool that offers you a straightforward and convenient way of calculating the solution for sets of linear equations.
Featherweight and portable math app
Considering the fact that it does not require any kind of installation and its small dimensions, you can get started with this app with the least amount of effort. What is more, you can just easily copy it to any removable storage unit or even on a cloud server and have it with you wherever you're going. It's also worth pointing out that the application can be run just as easily on all major OSes out there, including macOS and Linux.
The app's user interface is a bit on the old side of things, but this does not affect its functionality all that much. Before anything, you should know that there's no limit to the number of linear equations, this utility can solve, just as long as the syntax is correct.
Probably the simplest way to solve linear equations
That said, type-in the coefficient matrix in the upper left panel and the vector and matrix numbers in the right one and hit the "Solve" button. The results, the solution set and the determinant of coefficient matrix numbers are displayed in the bottom part of the main window.
A second, separate window displays the output in floating points, and a third one allows you to work with fractions of unlimited numbers and denominators. Please note that the utility also bundles a very useful Help menu that allows you to get accustomed to its functionality.
No-frills utility for solving linear equations
Taking everything into account, solveLinEqs is a stripped-down yet quite handy application for teachers or students who are looking for a quick way to determine the exact solution to a set of linear equations.
