Somewhat Mono

Somewhat Mono is a DSP plugin for the Winamp audio player, which facilitates a simple slider you can adjust to find the ideal balance between the stereo and mono channels.

Firstly, its necessary to deploy the downloaded .exe file, which copies Somewhat Mono to the plugins folder of the Winamp installed directory. Secondly, you have to enable it from the audio players preferences area.
The interface is represented by a slider bar that lets you tweak it within the mono and stereo channel range, until you find the right sound balance without completely eliminating stereo ambiance.
