Sondle Capture Screen Assist enables you to record your desktop activity and output the result as an AVI file on your computer. While it is recording, the application remains hidden in the background to offer you a complete view of your desktop. You only have to bring it back on the screen once you are done recording, to press the “Stop” button and save the file.
The said file is automatically named by the program and you not have any control over it, although it is not a significant downside, since you can easily rename it afterward. It can, however, be pretty annoying if you have to record a large number of videos, since you would have to rename them all by hand or use some other application.

Sondle Capture Screen Assist enables you to grab screenshots of your screen activity as well. One of the big disadvantages of this function is that it cannot capture specific areas or just a single application window, it can only take snapshots of the whole desktop at once. This can be troublesome if you do not want to share everything that may be displayed on your screen.
As for the output files, the are also automatically named using the current date and time and you can choose between the BMP and JPEG format. They both have their advantages, but it depends greatly on the purpose of your images.
