SpeedLoad

SpeedLoad is a small but powerful application thatmonitors a programs activities and then optimises the application so it loads more quickly.
If install programs done their job properly SpeedLoad would have nothing to do, but the sad fact is that most of them only do the bare minimum that is required to get the program up and running and little else.
To use SpeedLoad is fairly simple. First you have to choose an application that you would like to make load faster, then simply either drag the applications shortcut or main EXE file into SpeedLoad and press the "Analyse" button. At this point the program will start so that SpeedLoad can analyse its activities.
You should try to use as many of the programs features as possible as some programs only load certain features as needed. After you are satisfied, close the program down and press the "Go" button. Then start the application once more, this time without SpeedLoad, and marvel at its new-found speed.
It is recommended that you only use SpeedLoad on apps that you have a backup of. In general if you back up the .exes involved any problems can be resolved simply by restoring the originals. Most apps that perform checksums only check the .exe.
