Spentura Smart Security Free is a relatively simple program designed to prevent virus infections, while also providing you with a set of useful tools for cleaning your PC, encrypting data, repairing the Windows registry and deleting files securely.
The application offers a decent set of tools, and it can detect both local and online threats, but it features a rather plain user interface, and the quality of the English translation is very disappointing.

Prevent malware attacks and scan for existing infections

Spentura Smart Security Free includes a real-time scanning engine that can detect local threats and potentially dangerous files that are downloaded from the web.
If you want to ensure your PC is not already infected, you can run a quick scan to search for malware in the most common locations, as well as have the application analyze the entire contents of your hard drive.
However, while the program should allow you to check a particular folder, we were unable to do so during our tests, as the application launched a full scan regardless of our selection. Moreover, this function is not added to the Windows context menu.

Includes a useful set of cleanup tools

Aside from the antivirus module, Spentura Smart Security Free also provides you with several other utilities designed to help you keep your PC in top shape. Using these, you can monitor active applications, scan for and delete junk files, repair the Registry and delete data securely.
Additionally, the program allows you to lock any folder on your hard drive, making it inaccessible to anyone who does not have access to the correct password.

Features a simplistic and badly-translated interface

While many users are likely to appreciate the program’s minimalistic layout, a lot more work needs to be put into translating the interface, as the descriptions are often difficult to understand.
Overall, Spentura Smart Security Free is a useful, multi-purpose application that can secure your computer against malware and also offers a set of handy maintenance tools. However, the scanning engine needs some improvements, and a better English translation is required.
