SQL Server Metadata Toolkit Description

The SQL Server Metadata Toolkit package was developed for managing metadata in SQL Server Integration Services, Analysis Services and Reporting Services using built-in features including data lineage, business and technical metadata and impact analysis.

Known Issues:

- On an x64 windows platform you may find that some third party components are not recognised.
- To address this copy the third party component DLLs from the 32 bit (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\100\DTS\PipelineComponents) folder to the 64 bit (C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\DTS\PipelineComponents) folder. This may cause some unexpected side effects when you use these components, so I wouldnt be doing this on a production server...
- The underlying issue is that the Application.PipelineComponentInfos on a 64 bit platform doesnt enumerate the 32 bit components...System requirementsMySQL Server
