Summary of Everything Important:
Upon starting Stand-Bye!, the most important details will be displayed: your current wait-time, if Stand-Bye can start standby-mode with the current settings and threshholds and you'll be able to activate Presentation Mode
Customizable Wait-time:
Unlike the default standby from Windows, you have the option of precisely customizing your wait-time, down to individual seconds!
Presentation Mode:
It can be extremely embarassing and annoying for your computer to suddenly go into standby during a business meeting or a presentation, that's why we've developed the Stand-Bye Presentation Mode. When activated, Presentation Mode will prevent your computer from turning off or going into standby. Right-click on the Stand-Bye icon in the task bar to find Presentation Mode. New: Presentation Mode can be toggled with this shortcut key-combination: Strg+Alt+P
Custom Parameters:
Every Computer and every user is unique, that's why you can customize everything to your liking. All the current values are displayed on the right in the threshholds tab, and you can tell just by looking at the colour, if your system will go into standby with the current values. You can even decide which workloads should be considered, before going into standby!
Exception Processes:
With Stand-Bye, you can decide which processes will prevent your computer from going into standby. You don't want Steam-downloads to be cancelled halfway? Then add Steam as an exception and Stand-Bye won't activate standby, until you've finished downloading your 40GB.
Audio-Recognition:
Stand-Bye can now also recognize, if your computer is playing audio and prevents your computer from going into standby. The audio-detection works regardless of the volume settings. It's especially useful if you enjoy listening to music with Spotify on your PC.
Automatic Launching:
To keep you from manually launching Stand-Bye everytime you turn on your PC (and forgetting it every time), we've given you the option of starting Stand-Bye automatically everytime.
If the Autostart is bugging you, you can always feel free to deactivate this option.
