SubTitle FPS Converter

SubTitle FPS Converter is a lightweight and portable application designed to help you convert the frames per second of MicroDVD subtitle files. It is easy to work with, even if you have little or no background in software programs.
Since installation is not a prerequisite, SubTitle FPS Converter can be dropped to any location on the hard drive, from where you can run the executable file directly.
It is also possible to put the tool on a USB flash drive, external hard drive or similar storage unit, in order to run it on another computer with no setup packages.
The most important factor is that SubTitle FPS Converter does not add new entries to the Windows Registry or leave files behind on the hard drive after removing it from the computer.
The utility is packed in a plain and uncomplicated interface. It does not contain any appealing graphical elements, since SubTitle FPS Converter focuses on delivering a quick FPS conversion solution.
Files can be loaded into the workspace with the courtesy of the file browser only, since "drag and drop" is not supported. Batch processing is not included into SubTitle FPS Converter's features either, so you cannot work with more than one item at a time.
All you have to do is establish the target directory and file name, together with the output FPS and frame offset, in order to initialize the conversion procedure. There are no other options available through this utility.
SubTitle FPS Converter is very light on the system resources, using only a small amount of CPU and system memory. It completes a task rapidly and efficiently. No error dialogs have been shown in our tests and the tool did not freeze or crash. Too bad SubTitle FPS Converter has not been updated for a long while, since it is easy to manage.
