SuperCharger Description
SuperCharger is a lightweight software application built specifically for helping you automatically set the priority of the running applications. This way, you can speed up or slow down the performance of multiple processes.
The program sits quietly in the system tray until called upon when it reveals only a few configuration settings to tinker with.
Basically, it proves to be extremely easy to work with this tool, as it is able to automatically set the priority level to “High†for the active window and slow down other processes.
What’s more, you can enable or disable the boosting process, make the utility run at Windows startup, as well as delete temporary files.
On the downside, you are not allowed to select the priority level (real time, high, or above normal) for each application, and create a list with utilities and specify the priority level for all of them.
Since there aren’t many configuration settings, even less experienced users can set up the entire process with minimum effort.
During our testing we have noticed that SuperCharger carries out a task quickly, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process. As it would be expected from such a small utility, it remains light on system resources, so it doesn’t burden the overall performance of the computer, nor interfere with other programs’ functionality.
All things considered, SuperCharger offers a simple software solution for helping you prioritize the CPU usage for different applications, and can be easily configured and installed by beginners and professionals alike. It cannot compete with other powerful tools on the market, as it lacks support for advanced features.
