Sweet Guitar Description
The Internet is filled with all sort of applications and software solutions that you could use in order to learn how to play an instruments.
Sweet Guitar is one of those applications, it's packed with all sort of tools and features that allow you to enter scores and then listen to them. It comes with a nice graphical interface with lots of tools at hand.
Intuitive user interface with some tools
The application doesn't take long to install and it doesn't come with a complicated setup that you would need to complete, before you can actually use its features. It sports a really intuitive graphical interface with plenty of tools at hand.
If you have a sound card and DirectX 9 Microsoft installed on your computer, Sweet Guitar is able to recreate the music described by the scores previously entered.
Create music using this application
As opposed to many other types of music software, the music isn’t created in MIDI format, but by mixing many waveform files sources (.wav). That means that you don’t need a high quality sound card in order to achieve a clear and convincing sound.
Sweet Guitar deals with rhythm management, guitar effects, etc., in order to simplify the score edition as much as possible. The tablatures can contain up to 10 tracks, and each of these can figure several instruments.
Change rhythms
The default rhythm is the quarter note (crotchet). A toolbar shows the current rhythm on the right of the score. You can choose a note ranging from the sixty-fourth (hemi demisemiquaver) to the whole note (semibreve).
Once you have chosen the rhythm, all the following notes will get that rhythm. Most of the scores comprise many guitar effects. Sweet Guitar offers a complete set of these, including most of the commonly used one. All in all, Sweet Guitar is a very nice application for creating scores and listening to your songs.
