SWF Scanner is a handy tool that can provide you with a simple solution for editing the elements of any SWF file, as well as extract the images, sounds and action scripts from within the movie.

The main advantage of this tool is that it scans the SWF file to detect embedded objects (JPEG or loseless images, raw, MP3, ADPCM or streaming sounds, as well as frame, button and instance actions) and allows you to save them to your computer. Scripts can be extracted as instruction code, byte code or ActionScript 4 or 5 compatible.
