Swift CSS Page Starter Description
Even though it is not very different than HTML as far as the web page's markup language is concerned, CSS boasts several advantages over the latter language. Not only is it viewed as a clean coding technique by search engines, but it also has a better browser compatibility and it is consistent.
Swift CSS Page Starter is a small utility that enables you to create the initial CSS code for a new web page quickly and effortlessly.
Straightforward CSS code generation
While the interface leaves more to be desired, the truth is that it is also well-structured, intuitive and consists of 2 sections. More exactly, the left pane area where you can select the preferred font style and size as well as the color for the text and background.
The right panel allows you to preview the CSS code generated based on your preferences and edit it accordingly. It would be useful if the application allowed you to preview how the end-result looks like, a feature that can help you make the necessary modifications.
Comes with only a few font style options
You can choose from 13 different font styles for your page, including Comic Sans MS, MS Sherif, Lucida Sans Unicode and Times New Roman, to name a few. Although these styles are standard for web pages, it would be useful if the tool included several more options in this sense.
At the same time, the utility allows you to select a font size between 1pt and 70pt, so you can use the CSS code generator for crafting headers as well. Lastly, you can specify the colors for the text and background via typing the name of the tint. It would be handy if the utility came with an advanced color selection mode to make sure there would not be any differences once you upload the page.
A simple tool for crafting the starting CSS code
Despite the fact that it could use several more options, Swift CSS Page Starter is an intuitive app that can help you with the initial coding you require for designing web pages.
