TagMaster

TagMaster is an application you can to use to edit the ID3 tags of multiple MP3 audio tracks at the same time, as well as to rename files in bulk based on these tags. It has a handful of options.

The program enables you to remove all tags, create playlists, launch music in your default audio player by double-clicking any entry from the list, make the frame stay on top of other windows, enable recursive scan mode, use underscore, as well as minimize the app to make it non-intrusive and carry on with your normal PC activity without any interruptions.

Evaluation and conclusion

It didn't put a strain on the computer's performance in our tests, using low CPU and RAM. No error dialogs popped up and it didn't freeze or crash. Tag editing and file renaming tasks were carried out fast.
On the other hand, TagMaster hasn't received updates for a long time and its interface needs a lot of improvements in the graphical department. Plus, the options are not that intuitive, especially for inexperienced users.
