TankOS is a simple, yet effective software solution that provides you with a reliable means of accessing basic tools such as Notepad and perform easy tasks using only an intuitive interface.
When you launch the application for the first time, you are able to configure the GUI options according to your needs. This way, you can open TankOS in full screen mode or choose not to display any interface (this option is mostly dedicated for advanced users).
The main window is very intuitive and displays four sections, namely Tools, Audio Options, Administration and GUI options. Each of them contains useful tools and special options that enhance your administrative experience.
That being said, using the ‘Tools’ section you are able to access Notepad if you want to add personal notes and text, ping a specific IP address to view if it is connected to the Internet and pump important files by raising their size in kilobytes, megabytes or gigabytes.
What’s more, you can even send e-mail messages to your friends even if you do not have an e-mail program installed in your computer.
The ‘Administration’ section enables you to shutdown your PC easily. For those who want to change the application’s aspect, they can access the ‘User Settings’ snap-in and modify the background color.
Navigating to the ‘GUI options’ panel you can use the application in full screen mode or Windowed GUI mode.
