Taskbar Labels comes bundled in a portable package which can be deployed on your system by simply running the executable file. No entries are recorded in your Windows registry.
Copying the utility on any USB flash drive or other devices is also possible. You may get rid of it by simply deleting the files that you have downloaded from the Internet.

You can find the utility sitting quietly in your system tray. Right-clicking on its icon helps you get quick access to the configuration panel.

How it works

Taskbar Labels gives you the possibility to show or hide the text in the taskbar using a preset hotkey (Ctrl+F11). You may easily reassign the hotkey from the configuration panel.
Tests have shown that the program executes a task very quickly and without errors. It leaves minimal footprint on system resources, so your computer performance is not affected. You may leave it running in the background and quickly press the designed hotkey for turning on or off the text mode.
