TcpLogView Description
TcpLogView is a tiny and portable software application that allows you to keep track of opened TCP connections.
It features several handy options that are easy to figure out by all types of users, whether they have previous experience with networking tools or not.
Since installation is not required, you can just place the executable file in any location on the HDD and click it to run.
Another option is to save TcpLogView to a USB flash disk or similar mass storage device, to be able to run it on any PC with minimum effort and no prior installers.
What's more, the tool does not create new entries in the Windows registry, nor additional files on the hard disk without your consent, thus leaving no traces after removal.
Its clean and intuitive GUI contains a list that immediately gets populated with TCP connection details at startup. These include the event date and type, local and remote address, remote host name, local and remote port, along with the process ID, name, path and country.
Selected entries can be saved to TXT, CSV, HTML or XML format for further scrutiny. You can also use a search function when dealing with large amounts of data, create a TcpLogView icon in the system tray, and so on.
The tool is low-demanding when it comes to CPU and RAM, so it does not affect the PC's overall performance. It is very responsive to commands and works smoothly, without causing the OS to hang, crash or pop up errors. We have not come across any issues in our tests. All in all, TcpLogView serves its purpose.
