It is developed to facilitate left/right-side navigation, which cannot be achieved using the conventional drop-down menu components. Version 4.2 features powerful DataBinding capabilities including full support for ASP.NET 2.0 Declarative DataSources. The current version is optimized in performance and HTML output. It introduces an improved and very easy to use single-property skinning mechanism. RadPanelBar now offers a variety of expand/collapse animation effects. The extended client-side API closely matches the server-side API. The new version also presents enhanced Visual Studio .NET design time support.
