Thaddy's Netstat Description
Thaddy's Netstat is a tiny and portable piece of software designed to help you inspect network information when it comes to network adapters and connections.
It does not include complex options or configuration settings, so it can be used even by those less experienced with networking applications.
Since there is no setup pack involved, you can put the program files in any part of the hard disk and click the EXE file to run.
There is also the possibility of saving Thaddy's Netstat to a USB flash disk or similar storage device, in order to run it on any PC easily and without installing anything beforehand.
In addition, the tool does not create new entries in the Windows registry or Start menu, leaving the disk clean after removal.
The interface is represented by a normal window with a simple structure, where you can view the description, driver name, MAC address, index number, DHCP and WINS status of each network adapter, along with the IP address, subnet mask, adapter type, default gateway, primary and secondary server (WINS), as well as the DHCP server start and end time.
Network statistics focus on forwarding, default TTL, datagrams received, unknown protocols, routing cards, fragmentations count, and many others. Meanwhile, you can also check out data on TCP and UDP connections (status, local and remote address and port, process). It is possible to refresh these details and to show process names. There are no other notable options available.
Thaddy's Netstat has minimal impact on computer performance, as it uses low CPU and RAM. Unfortunately, the app has not been updated for a very long time, and it has compatibility issues with newer operating systems. It crashed on multiple occasions on Windows 7 in our tests.
