The Bat! Unpass Description
The Bat! Unpass is an efficient and simple to understand piece of software created to serve as a means of decrypting the account information stored in the installation and configuration files of The Bat!, a fairly popular email client.
The program is very easy to work with, the level of experience required in order to handle it being a minimal one.
In addition, it does not even need to be installed on the host computer in order to function, as you can simply double-click the executable and The Bat! Unpass will launch right away.
The utility is able to detect by itself the data folder of the email client, allowing you to ‘Import’ the preferred CFN file into The Bat! Unpass, in order to decode the contained details, including general account information.
As such, you can retrieve recipients and senders’ names, addresses or organizations, even the mailbox password. You can also discover the SMTP server and port or the authentication information for sending or receiving email messages. The gathered data can be exported to TXT or HTML files, depending on your preferences, for printing or further work.
Moreover, The Bat! Unpass features a ‘De/Encoder’ component, that can successfully encrypt and decrypt text. While the used algorithm is not apparent, it can prove quite useful in scrambling lengthy bits of text, enabling you to copy the message to clipboard and paste it in a conversation window or an email message. The ‘Encode’ and ‘Decode’ buttons serve the eponymous functions, allowing you to encrypt or decrypt the input data with a simple mouse click.System requirementsThe Bat!
