The other BSOD screensaver Description
The infamous blue screen is the most feared error of the Windows operating system, as it usually means that it has encountered a critical error, of a non-recoverable nature, that causes the system to crash. The other BSOD screensaver is a small utility that emulates the aforementioned situation.
The program has a simple interface that is quite easy to figure out.
As mentioned, the program installs as a screensaver and can be set as default by accessing the Windows desktop background area. As with any other similar utilities, you must simply choose it from the drop-down list and press the “Apply†button on the interface.
Unlike other similar tools that emulate the Blue Screen of Death, this screensaver goes a step further and after displaying the error screen it simulates a system restart. Furthermore, as you read the text, you can see that the hard disks have been “formatted†and the system prepares to install Linux.
However, the app doesn’t come with any additional settings, so you must settle for what the developer included in the app. Also, in order to install this screensaver you must choose the option from the right-click menu of the app, as it doesn’t automatically add itself to the system.
Whether you want to install this on your own computer on those of your friends and family in order to play a prank, you can rest assured that it works well.
The bottom line is that The other BSOD screensaver is a nice addition to the computer. Inexperienced users should find it easy to install and work with, thanks to its overall simplicity.
