The Unscrambler X reaches out to a wider audience of data analysts, and process control applications, while still maintaining a strong commitment to our spectroscopic & sensory data analysis users. This market leading software is extensively used across a wide range of research and industrial applications including, process understanding, rapid quality monitoring, product formulation, metabolomics and sensory science. Specific examples include, raw material identification, demand driven formulation, real time process & quality control and faster time-to-market R&D projects. All of these result in cost minimization and improved ROI. DoE as an investigational strategy that aims to design the most economical experiments for the purpose of obtaining empirical knowledge, i.e. knowledge gained from the system under investigation and not on theoretical models. It is most usefully applied in the first steps of large problem solving projects or for improving existing process or product performance. Recognised as one of the most effective strategies for investigating complex problems, DoE has experienced higher acceptance recently from initiatives such as Design for Six Sigma (DFSS).
