ToDo Description
ToDo is a small software application whose purpose is to help you set up multiple tasks and organize them in a hierarchical structure.
Clean feature lineup
The tool is unobtrusive and can be found sitting quietly in the system tray. The GUI looks simple and intuitive. A help manual cannot be found in the package. However, you can tweak the dedicated parameters on your own because they look easy to work with.
Configure multiple tasks
ToDo gives you the possibility to set up a new task by providing information about the name and writing down the text content or pasting the information from the clipboard. In addition, you can make use of basic clipboard tasks in order to manage the note’s content (cut, copy, paste) and delete data on the fly.
Other important configuration settings worth being mentioned enable you to set task priorities, specify the start and end date, as well as check out the total number of days when the task is active. The notes are created in a hierarchical style and you can browse throughout their content similar to an Explorer menu.
Configuration settings
You are allowed to save the tasks to a file (.todo file format) on your computer so you can quickly import the information in your future projects, import data from CSV files, print the information, as well as make use of preset hotkeys for faster actions.
Furthermore, you can delete tasks, load the last .todo file with tasks at program startup, and automatically save the information at a custom time interval (in minutes) and on shutdown.
Tests have shown that ToDo carries out different actions very quickly and without errors. It is not a resource hog so you can keep it running in the background without worrying that it eats up CPU and memory resources.
Final observations
All things considered, ToDo provides nothing more than basic features and a straightforward approach for helping you keep track of multiple tasks, and is suitable especially for less experienced users.
