ToDoT

When you work within a dedicated CAD application, and you want to share your ideas with other colleagues, chances are they will not be able to access your files if you saved them in the format native to your CAD app. In other words, you need to first convert the files, then send them to other people. For example, if you regularly work with Autodesk Inventor, then ToDoT could come in quite handy.
This software solution installs without any issues, as long as you have Autodesk Inventor already installed on your PC.
ToDoT can be used as a viewing application for your Inventor files, as it launches much faster than the Autodesk product, while also requiring less RAM and CPU. You will still be able to explore the 3D mechanical design, along with all its levels.
The graphic interface is both intuitive and neatly organized, so you can easily browse to location where your files are stored - alternatively, depending on your necessities, you can select an assembly file and explore its contents.
On the other hand, you can rely on ToDoT to convert your project to other formats that can be imported in other applications without featuring any errors or data loss. As such, you can export your design to DXF, DWG, DWFx or DWF if you want to further edit in another CAD program, or you can convert it to PDF if you want to simply share it with other persons.
All in all, ToDoT can help you save time when it comes to exploring your IDW files (as launching Autodesk Inventor is no longer needed), but it also enables you to convert them to several other formats. If you are satisfied with its features, you need to purchase a license to be able to use it past its evaluation period.
