Tray Stopwatch Description
Tray Stopwatch is a very simple Windows utility that provides a basic stopwatch with a few customization options.
Just like its name suggests, the program places an icon in the Windows System Tray, allowing you to start a new stopwatch with the press of a button.
Once a new stopwatch is loaded, the application displays the actual time, starting time and elapsed time, allowing you to mark any moment of the stopwatch with the help of a tiny panel at the bottom of the screen.
The same window is being used to adjust transparency, with basic arrows to configure it on the go.
You can launch as many stopwatches as you want, either from the main window or just by right clicking the System Tray icon and pressing the “New Stopwatch†option. Plus, you can hit the “Measure Time Now†to launch a new stopwatch and start it automatically.
There is no other options screen, so Tray Stopwatch is a very simple application, which means beginners should have no problem trying to figure out how to use it.
Of course, the program works flawlessly on all Windows versions and doesn't ask for administrator privileges on Windows 7, remaining very friendly with hardware resources all the time. We didn't experience any issues during our testing, but instead it sometimes freezes on Windows 7 machines.
Overall, Tray Stopwatch is a simple tool that serves its purpose and although it doesn't offer too many customization features, it's still an attractive freebie for a handful of users.
