TrayIt!

TrayIt! is a handy freeware Windows tool that can minimize any running application to System Tray, thus saving space on the Taskbar and providing a fast way to access these programs.
Using TrayIt! is quite a breeze, mostly because minimizing a running process is as easy as right clicking it in the main window and hitting the “Hide Window” option.
That's right, the main window of TrayIt! displays all active programs, letting you pick the ones you wish to minimize to Tray.
Although it's usually enough to double click the Tray icon to bring the app back on the Taskbar, there's a “Restore Window” option too, just to make sure you encounter no problems when trying to re-open the items.
With predefined profiles also available for programs that require a special handling, TrayIt! also sports a bunch of options, all of which can customize the whole experience even more.
For example, you can group similar Tray icons for each application, use a single-click on the Tray icon to quickly restore an application, enable Window Attributes menu and load the program at startup.
What's more, TrayIt! also comes with a dedicated menu that allows you to right-click an active window's minimize button to instantly minimize it to Tray, but this only works with the programs displayed in the main window only.
Supposed to perform such a simple task, TrayIt! remains friendly with hardware resources, working just fine on all Windows versions.
