TriCalc Description
TriCalc is a software tool which was developed specifically to aid swimmers, bikers and runners to figure out the speed at which they covered a specific distance.
The upside of portability
The installation process is not a prerequisite, as this product is portable. As a result, the Windows registry and hard drive are not going to suffer any changes, and no leftovers will remain on their disk after you remove it.
Another noteworthy aspect is that you can easily move the program files to an external data device and thus, run TriCalc on any computer you come across with just a click of the executable.
Clear-cut GUI
The interface you come by is quite plain and simple, as it only consists of several buttons, a pane in which to display results and some boxes which let you easily configure some parameters. Although no Help contents are incorporated, both power and novice users can find their way around it, without facing any kind of difficulties.
Take advantage of some profiles and view results almost immediately
This program comes bundled with some distance profiles (e.g. Ironman, Olympic, Sprint etc.) for swimmers, bikers and runners, so that you can use them with just a click of the button. In addition to that, you can also manually input a distance, as well as the finish time.
Results are going to be displayed in the main window almost immediately, along with an automatic conversion of the distance covered to kilometers, meters, miles and yards, as well as the speed in various measurement units.
Bottom line
To conclude, TriCalc is a pretty efficient piece of software when it comes to calculating one’s speed. The interface is friendly to all user categories, the response time is good and the computer’s performance is not going to be hampered.
