TurboCPU Description
TurboCPU is a lightweight cross-platform utility built specifically for helping you increase or decrease the CPU speed for the running processes. This comes in handy especially when working with multiple applications at the same time and you need to prioritize which utilities should run with full or slow speed.
TurboCPU offers users the possibility to choose between four different modes for optimizing the selected processes, namely lowest, low, normal, high, and highest. Of course, the last one is able to boost the execution speed at its highest level and lets you focus solely on obtaining the best speed results.
Basically, it’s extremely easy to work with this tool, as you only need to select the priority level for tweaking the resources granted to each process and click on the target window to select the application.
Plus, as soon as you run a program, TurboCPU automatically displays the priority level and name of the application, and allows you to pick the mode that meets your working requirements.
During our testing we have noticed that the tool carries out a task very quickly and without errors throughout the entire process. On the downside, it doesn’t offer a list with the running processes, nor allow you to kill them.
All things considered, TurboCPU offers an intuitive working environment for helping you set the priority level for the running processes. Thanks to simplistic and clean GUI that can be moved to any area of the desktop, the entire operation seems nothing but a child’s play.
