TV Sampler Description

Using TvSampler and a TV card, you can do a live channel scan to produce a list of channels and EPG. You can save channel lists and EPG in a variety of formats including the popular XMLTV format which you can import into other applications. Terrestrial scans take approx 30 mins to complete, whereas cable scans can take several hours. TvSampler is free to use, but in return your channel scan data is shared. The channel scan data is uploaded to Inviews server (no personal data is uploaded) so that the data can contribute to a multi-regional television database. This product is designed for DVB broadcasts covering Europe. It will not work in North America which uses the ATSC standard.
