Tweeki for Pokki

Designed for the Pokki platform, the Tweeki is a versatile client for Twitter. It cannot be installed on its own and requires Pokki framework in order to work.

Installs all prerequisites

To make things easier, during the installation process the user is informed of the requirements and is offered to download and install the application framework automatically.
As soon as all installation procedures complete both Pokki and the Twitter app become available on the taskbar.
Tweeki for Pokki benefits from a clean design and all the functionality necessary for checking for new tweets, posting messages, handling multiple accounts or finding new users to interact with.

Twitter in a window

The application adapts the functionality in the Twitter page to a different frame that allows easy navigation from one module to another. The sections are present in the upper part of the screen and you can easily switch between the timeline, interactions, messages directed at you, lists or profile.
However, unlike the online version, the Pokki variant provides the possibility to receive real-time alerts on the screen when new messages arrive.
As such, the notification settings can be enabled for the timeline updates, for mentions of your handle in other tweets as well as for direct messages.
Depending on how intrusive you want the application to be the alerts can be configured to appear in the top right hand corner of the desktop or their number can be shown discreetly on the application’s icon on the taskbar.
Basically, the app combines all the functionality of the Twitter page with the comfort of alerts and a great looking interface.

If you already have Pokki installed it makes for a nice addition. The notification system and the fact that it permits opening Twitter in its own window are advantages some users would appreciate beyond what other alternatives offer.
