Ultimate CD / DVD Burner is a very easy to use CD and DVD burning solution that relies on an intuitive interface and a great amount of features.
Besides the fact that it lets you create data discs, Ultimate CD / DVD Burner also comes with built-in features to build or burn ISOs, while also boasting dedicated features for erasing a rewritable disc.
The main window holds all necessary options, which include separate panels for browsing local disks and picking content to be placed on the discs. Plus, it gives you the power to select the drive you wish to use, but also check the CD progress, size and buffer.
A disc information screen has been implemented to provide info such as medium type, disc size, used and free space, especially useful before starting a new project.
But it's highly recommended to have a look in the so-called “Advanced options” screen that comprises options such as volume name, Joliet file system, test write, make bootable disc, quick save ISO or adjust cache size.
Ultimate CD / DVD Burner indeed works like a charm and while the interface isn't the best we've seen in this particular software category, it still serves its purpose in a very quick manner.
The application runs okay on all Windows versions, with a minimum footprint on hardware resources all the time.
Overall, Ultimate CD / DVD Burner is a nice piece of conversion software, providing a simple interface addressed to beginners and advanced options for more experienced users.
