Similar to Revo Uninstaller and IObit Uninstaller, Puran Uninstaller is a simple-to-use application developed to help users seamlessly removed installed programs from their computer. It contains a few handy options for all user levels.
The user-friendly interface is based on a standard window with a clean and intuitive layout, where a list of all installed apps is shown at initialization, along with their version, publisher, install date, and size.
A real-time search function is provided, but it is not very accurate. So, you can make the Microsoft programs appear on top, look up program information on Google's search engine, verify an item's digital signature to find out whether it can be trusted or not, as well as export the list of programs to an HTML file for closer inspection.
Thie piece of software runs a program's default uninstaller to remove it, similar to the Windows built-in function. However, the force uninstall mode takes it to the next level, by scanning the computer for any leftover files or registry entries, in order to completely eliminate all the app's traces and keep the HDD tidy.
The application requires a low amount of CPU and RAM to work properly, so it does not affect the overall performance of the computer. It has a good response time and did not trigger Windows to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs in our evaluation. All in all, Uninstaller serves its purpose, and it should please everyone looking for a fast method to remove programs and their traces.
