UninstallIt is a lightweight and portable application that gives you the possibility to remove program uninstall entries from the Windows registry, in order to declutter the system and improve the performance of the computer.

Portable utility with a simple GUI

The tool's not packed in a setup kit. Instead, you can copy the downloaded files to a custom directory on the disk or to a removable storage unit, in order to effortlessly launch UninstallIt on any PC without setup.
It doesn't need DLLs or other components to work properly, nor does it create files on the HDD without asking for permission.
As far as the interface is concerned, the program opts for a standard window with a plain appearance and well-structured layout, giving you an overview of all options put at your disposal.

Remove the uninstall entries of programs

The uninstall entries of applications are automatically listed at startup, so you can scroll the list and identify a specific tool by name, as well as click on it to get additional details, namely the display icons' path, display name and version, help link, publisher, registry uninstall string, along with the install date and location, in addition to other properties.
A selected key can be deleted from the registry with the click of a button. Moreover, you can refresh all information if any changes were made in the meantime, as well as view the status of the Sysoc.inf file (wherever this is applicable) and open it to tweak with the configuration. There are no other notable options available.

Evaluation and conclusion

It didn't put a strain on the computer's performance in our tests, running on a low amount of CPU and RAM. System resources usage was minimal, as it didn't hang, crash or indicate errors.
Too bad that UninstallIt hasn't received updated for a very long time and has some stability issues with later Windows versions. Nevertheless, it offers a simple and straightforward solution for deleting the uninstall entries of installed applications.
