Universal Translator Description

The Universal Translator offers a flexible solution to these format conversion allowing a user with only minimal programming experience to develop and maintain (in-house) a fast and reliable mapping between any "transaction" based format. Typically this would include Payment, Acknowledgement or Statement formats however there is no actual limitation to how the translation engine can be utilised. The Universal Translator allows the user to freely convert between transaction types, for example there is no reason that the translator engine can not be used to generate acknowledgements and/or real-time advice statements based on a payment source file(s) being processed. In addition to allowing the conversion of different transaction formats the Universal Translator offers, as standard, consolidation and routing capabilities thanks to its combine and splitting functionality.
