USB Drive AntiVirus provides your pen drives with the protection they need from viruses, such as Trojans. It is very simple to use, even by individuals with limited or no experience in antivirus software.
Once the USB flash disk is plugged into the computer, USB Drive AntiVirus performs a scanning procedure at initialization. It also verifies the local and memory disk for any viruses.
Additional tools of the program let you disable autoplay for removable drives, immunize a disk (USB drives, local disk, or manual selection), start a manual scan on custom targets, unlock pen drives, as well as disable usage and writing data to any USB storage device.
Furthermore, USB Drive AntiVirus is able to fix system errors that may cause virus infections, such as the EXE and TXT files association, disabled "Folder Options" panel, Registry Editor, Task Manager, entering safe mode, and disabled showing hidden files, as well as recover lost data in pen drives and remove VBS links to retrieve hidden folders. We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation, and the app did not hang or crash. Unfortunately, USB Drive AntiVirus does not leave much room for customization. There is also a portable edition available, if you want to bypass the installer.
