Utube Pad is a text editor whose feature set is not limited to document writing and formatting. It is specifically designed to help users write texts and descriptions for video tutorials, providing built-in screen capturing capabilities.

The application comes with all the basic features of a simple text editor, allowing text typing, fast color changing, font formatting and enabling you to cut, copy and paste text pieces. Thus, it can be used as an alternative to Notepad, although its purpose is rather different.

Utube Pad shows promise, but it still needs improvements to make it more appealing to users. The predefined texts are really helpful for creating 'how to' instructions. Enhancing the screen capturing tool with area capturing and adding it extra compatible file formats are just some suggestions to add to its value.
