uvPlayer Description
uvPlayer is a small and portable application that's capable of playing uvScreenCamera films (UVF format), as the name implies. It packs limited features but gets the job done and does not require any user experience.
Since installation is not a prerequisite, you can just drop the executable file anywhere on the hard drive and run it immediately.
As an alternative, you can save uvPlayer to a USB flash drive or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any computer effortlessly.
What's more important is that the Windows Registry section does not get entry updates, and files do not remain on the hard disk after removing the program.
The interface of the media player is familiar and easy to navigate through. UVF items can be opened using either the file browser or "drag and drop" method.
uvPlayer provides basic media player functions, such as pause and stop; you may navigate back and forth within the stream using a slider, as well as adjust the volume level and scroll speed. In addition, you can play a particular segment from the clip, switch to full screen mode, view file properties, as well as hide the control panel.
uvPlayer requires a moderate quantity of CPU and system memory, but it didn't cause us any issues throughout our evaluation, such as making the operating system hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. It is very responsive to commands and includes a help file.
Too bad that the application has not been updated for a very long time. But, even so, it delivers a simple method to viewing videos with the UVF format in a user-friendly environment.
