VARSET Description

VARSET sets a variable to file related information. In addition some arithmetic and string functions are offered. Long file names are supported under Windows 9x and 2000 (NOT Win NT). The syntax is easy to remember.
To set the environmental variable a SET instruction is generated, and automatically executed through the CALL VAR SET .. construct (this also works under Win NT/2000).
VARSET will help you edit variables in non time!
