Vegnos Description
Vegnos is a product designed to run on the Windows platform. In the simplest terms, Vegnos allows you to search for files quickly, and Vegnos allows you to recover deleted files. These two tasks are achieved without creating any indices on your computer, unlike most other search software you are to encounter in the industry. Simply select a drive, type in your query, and click Search, and the results will appear in the report to the right. When an item in the report is clicked, the containing folder will be opened, with the item selected. Note that file recovery is only supported on NTFS volumes at the moment. NTFS is common for large non-removable drives, whereas FAT volumes are common for small and removable drives. Security is delegated to Microsoft Windows, and it enforces access to the file or containing folder. Similarly, recovering files is restricted to users belonging to the Administrators user-group.
Whats new in this version:
Searches over non-NTFS volumes is now supported. Glob and regular expression queries are also supported.
