Video Converter Factory Description
Video Converter Factory is a software designed you help you encode media files to multiple formats, including AVI, MPG, MP3, MOV and MP4. It can be handled by all user levels.
The interface of the application is clean and intuitive. Media files can be imported into the queue by using either the file browser or treeview (the "drag and drop" method is not supported). Batch processing is allowed.
In the list you can check out the name, duration, size, output profile, estimated size and status of each video. So, once you specify the output directory and extension, you can proceed with the encoding task.
Furthermore, you can configure audio and video parameters when it comes to the resolution, encoder, aspect ratio, bit rate, frame rate, channel mode, volume and sample frequency rate. Settings can be saved to a new profile or restored to their default values.
On top of that, you can preview clips in a built-in media player and capture frames, set post-task actions (e.g. close application, restart computer) and the thread priority, and others. During conversion you can check out the progress on the current and all files, along with elapsed and remaining time. Plus, you can preview clips, pause the task and enable Video Converter Factory to run in the background.
The video encoding software takes up a moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and delivers a fair image and sound quality (although it could had been better). Plus, you can check out a comprehensive help file with snapshots. We recommend Video Converter Factory with some reservations.
