VKontakte is a Russian-based social network service that allows users to interact with each other and share various information in an easy manner.

VK image uploader is a third party utility designed to help users upload images to their profile in the social network with the least effort possible.
In order to work with it an account with VKontakte service is required. There is no need to install it because it can be launched immediately after extracting the contents of the downloaded archive.
Once started, the photo uploading utility asks you to authenticate with the VK credentials in order to establish a link with the account.

Non-intrusive, easy to configure

The application sits in the system tray area and features options for grabbing an image from the desktop, either the entire screen or a user-defined area.
The images can then be uploaded to the VK account. There is also the possibility to select a picture stored locally and share it with your friends.
One drawback of the program is that the working language is not in English, which makes it more difficult to handle and limits usability to Russian-speaking users.
The configuration options for the application include defining an album for uploading the screenshots, which allows setting up viewing restrictions as well. These include choosing the category of friends that can view and comment on the image.

Straightforward image uploader

As long as a VK account is available, working with the application is downright simple. Grab an image and upload it to the service. If proper sharing policies are enforced there should be nothing to worry about.
